Find your ideal saddle

The importance of using a saddle that perfectly fits our physical structure should never be underestimated. But how can we understand which saddle is right for us?
Saddle fitting:

rely on idmatch centers

The saddle, due to its particular function, plays an important role both in the athlete's comfort and in maximizing performance. Scientific studies have shown a significant loss of performance when discomfort is perceived while sitting.

Discover the size and shape that suit you best with the support of idmatch centers.

  • FIND A IDMATCH BIKELAB
Discover your size in 30"
The idmatch Smart Caliper is a sophisticated digital tool that allows for obtaining precise measurements and scientific results related to saddle size in just a few seconds. The internal algorithm reprocesses the data and automatically identifies the ideal saddle type for each cyclist.

What do letters and numbers indicate?
Our saddle sizes are characterized by a letter and a number, which combined allow for 6 different options to be offered, to which the unique triathlon size, called U3, should be added.
What do the letters indicate?

S or L indicate the width of the saddle, and what guides the choice between the two is the intertrochanteric distance (between the ischial bones of the pelvis).

Size S: narrow distance, for people with a value below 120mm Size
L: wide distance, for people with a value above 120mm

If you have already identified the width of your sit bones through a medical visit or bike fitting, you will be able to find the saddle width that best suits you with ease. If you have not taken any measurements, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.

What do the numbers indicate?

1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a hole in the saddle, and what guides the choice is the rotation of the pelvis/flexibility of our body. For those who have excellent pelvis rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it scales down to size 1.

1: indicates a closed saddle, meaning the absence of a hole.

2: indicates the presence of a smaller hole called "Flow."

3: indicates the presence of the hole called "Superflow" (the widest one).

People who are more "rigid" can use size 1, but also 2 and 3. On the contrary, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a hole.

The right size for you

Narrow intertrochanteric distance and low pelvis rotation.

Narrow intertrochanteric distance and medium pelvis rotation (Flow saddles).

Narrow intertrochanteric distance and high pelvis rotation (Flow and SuperFlow saddles).

Wide intertrochanteric distance and low pelvis rotation.

Wide intertrochanteric distance and medium pelvis rotation (Flow saddles).

Wide intertrochanteric distance and high pelvis rotation (Flow and SuperFlow saddles).

Universal size dedicated to the Triathlon world.
The additional choice of shape
What type of cyclist are you?

If you are a Dynamic cyclist, who moves a lot on the saddle without having a precise position, we recommend a "flat" shape. If, on the other hand, you are a Static cyclist, meaning that you have a fixed position on the saddle and do not move much on it, we recommend a "Waved" shape.

Don't know what type of cyclist you are? Easily discover it by checking your pelvis rotation.
To check your pelvic rotation, lean your back, glutes, and heels against the wall. Compare your position with the images below.
Anteverted Pelvis
The lumbar curve is very visible and the spine is not aligned.
Normal Pelvis
The lumbar curve has a normal alignment with the spinal column.
Retroverted Pelvis
The lumbar curve is aligned with the wall.
