One or more DemoRide saddles can be ordered on the website in the same way as other products. Throughout the DemoRide period, the order value will be held by Selle Italia as a guarantee for the return of the product in intact and good condition.
Once the saddle has been returned and inspected for reconditioning, the customer will receive:
1. A refund of the order, with a €25 deduction for DemoRide management, reconditioning, and cleaning expenses;
2.A coupon code worth 25% of the saddle's purchase price.
If the order is not returned within the agreed timeframe and conditions, the company will retain the total order value as compensation for the unreturned DemoRide saddle.
It is possible to order a DemoRide saddle directly from the website and have it delivered to your home for use over the course of one month.
The DemoRide saddle will arrive in a dedicated package and a Selle Italia pouch to preserve its integrity. The pouch must be returned. We suggest keeping the external packaging for easier and quicker repacking of the parcel.
The saddle must be handled with care and attention. During the DemoRide period, the customer may mount the saddle on their bicycle, ensuring that the seatpost is compatible with the saddle frame. Any damages—assessed indisputably by the Selle Italia team—that differ from normal wear and tear will be charged to the customer, and the refund issued will be partial. Cuts in the cover, deep scratches, tears, or shell breakages are not considered "normal wear and tear."
Normal and accepted signs of wear include regular mounting marks on the frame and seatpost, as well as minor signs of wear on the cover (slight fading or cover wear).
If the customer notices suspicious wear or discrepancies from the intact product upon delivery of the DemoRide saddle, they are requested to immediately report it to xyz@selleitalia.com.
The DemoRide saddle must be returned clean and intact.
The DemoRide period lasts one month from the delivery of the saddle to the customer. At the end of the month, the product must be returned to:

It is recommended to use shipping carriers that offer package tracking to ensure successful delivery or to promptly address any issues that may arise. If it is not possible to meet the return deadlines, please notify customer service in advance at xyz@selleitalia.com.
Once the DemoRide saddle is received and its good condition verified, the customer will be sent a coupon code worth a 25% discount, redeemable for a saddle purchase on selleitalia.com. The discount will be valid for one year from the coupon's issuance and cannot be combined with other discounts. Along with the coupon code, the refund notification will be sent, with €25 retained for management, shipping, and reconditioning costs of the DemoRide saddle.
Any incident or damage during the DemoRide period must be promptly reported to customer service to find a solution that satisfies both the customer and Selle Italia. The communication, accompanied by photographic documentation and, if applicable, a police report, must be sent to xyz@selleitalia.com.
